In this interactive and engaging online course, technicians will be introduced to the basic concepts of digital radiography, costs associated with digital radiography, troubleshooting digital image issues and aspects of radiation safety as they apply to digital radiography. We will also review radiographic positioning, which is based on two principles: to provide standard views that are familiar to the interpreter and to ensure the X-ray beam is tangential to the anatomy of interest. This online course will present an overview of techniques and protocols for successful radiographic images. Throughout the course, technicians will practice what they are learning through a variety of exercises and interactions.
