This case series illustrates the most common cases of juvenile diseases in dogs. Rapid identification and appropriate therapy is needed in order to minimize degenerative changes. A case of canine hip dysplasia will be presented for discussion of the different methods of evaluation, including Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) compared to PennHIP. By the end of the case series, the participant should have a firm grasp on the common congenital disorders seen in dogs, and the best methods to further evaluate the lesions.
