Urinary tract infections (UTIs) can be difficult to diagnose and treat effectively. Unlike human patients, veterinary patients are often asymptomatic, and the urinary tract infection may be an incidental finding. This session will help guide you with understanding best treatment paths for subclinical bacteriuria and complicated UTIs, discovering the risks and causes for antibiotic resistance, as well as a refresher with understanding minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). This session is part 2 of the STEPs archive webinars for microbiology.
