Feline pancreatitis is more common than many practitioners realize. This online training course will help you diagnose and treat feline pancreatitis. You will learn that pancreatitis in cats is very different from pancreatitis in dogs and will be able to recognize the presenting signs and common concurrent illnesses. This course will help you determine when to test for feline pancreatitis and how to implement the protocol in your practice. Lastly you will become familiar with the latest treatment recommendations for feline pancreatitis. Course length: approximately 1.5 hours.

In this interactive and engaging online course, technicians will be introduced to the basic concepts of digital radiography, costs associated with digital radiography, troubleshooting digital image issues and aspects of radiation safety as they apply to digital radiography. We will also review radiographic positioning, which is based on two principles: to provide standard views that are familiar to the interpreter and to ensure the X-ray beam is tangential to the anatomy of interest. This online course will present an overview of techniques and protocols for successful radiographic images. Hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism are among the most common endocrinopathies affecting feline and canine patients, respectively, in middle age and geriatric years. This course will provide veterinary professionals the information they need to identify the common clinical signs as well as the unusual manifestations of thyroid disease. In addition, we will cover the importance of routinely screening patients with suspected or potential thyroid disease, since the onset of thyroid disease is often insidious in senior pets—occurring over months to years.
